(Who) I am a striving or struggling or sometimes many things: teacher, activist, artist, lover, writer, and so on, but ever since my rolls established themselves on my thighs as a baby, I have consistently identified as one very good one thing: eater. (Why) I love everything about food – the tastes, the textures, the creation, the emotional attachments(…), but I find options can seem limited for a vegetarian, so I’ve been on a mission to discover or create delicious dishes for a non-meat eating eater, like me. (When) I eat all the time, (What) so what better way to share than with a food blog full of recipes and restaurants and relationships? An obviously brilliant and frightfully original (no one blogs about food!) way to explore my fare findings with the whole world, or at least the dears in (Where) my San Diego surroundings and the locations of my occasional travels.
